Cochineal carmine is one of the most widely used color in the food industry, in the textile industry and in the cosmetics industry because it is highly stable to heat and light, has a long shelf life and can achieve colors ranging from pink to violet.
Although the most common presentation of carmine is in powder form, at IMBAREX we offer some liquid carmine alternatives such as standard liquid carmine and oil-soluble liquid carmine.
Alkaline solution of aluminum carmine acid lacquer. It provides a color range from red to purple. It has excellent light and temperature stability and is soluble in both water and alkaline media.
It performs well in a pH range of 3.8 to 8.
Carmine powder suspended in vegetable oil. It provides a color range from red to purple.
It has excellent stability to light and temperature and develops well in a pH range of 3 to 12. Dispersible in oil.
